237 Supply Squadron, 159 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps opened their doors for a series of successful Open Day events at their West Bromwich Army Reserve Centre.
Over 50 cadets from Staffordshire and West Midlands (North Sector) Army Cadet Force and Shropshire Army Cadet Force attended a special cadet day, to gain an insight into both the Regular and Reserve Forces. The day provided a fantastic opportunity for the cadets to find out more about the Army and learn about the equipment, technology and training used to support a range of capabilities.
Students from the Motivational Preparation College for Training (MPCT) and Dudley College also attended one of the sessions to find out more about the career opportunities available with the Armed Forces.
There were a number of display stands hosted by 159 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps, 4 Mercian, 63 Military Intelligence Company 6 MI, 101 Battalion Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and the Rifles Regiment; all of whom were on hand to answer eager questions and allow the attendees to get their hands on the latest equipment.
The Open Days provided the perfect opportunity for attendees to be see the full capabilities the Army has to offer.
