DESCRIPTION:Stepway are holding a free veteran community day at Millennium Point in Birmingham on 15th October. \nOver 50 organisations will be attending to highlight the services\, job opportunities and support that they can offer the veteran community. \nAn ideal event for any veterans in our local region who may be seeking advice\, or are interested in finding out what resources could be available to access from the education\, welfare\, healthcare and legal sectors\, and training and employment opportunities. \nOur employer engagement team will also be there on the day\, ready to help provide guidance and information to organisations who help to support the veteran and Armed Forces Community. DESCRIPTION:Join our Armed Forces Covenant Business Breakfast hosted in partnership with Shropshire Council and Telford & Wrekin Council. \nWe will introduce the Armed Forces Covenant and its support activity throughout the county\, and you can also learn more about Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Awards which recognise the support that organisations provide to the wider Armed Forces community\, both in your workplace and your local area. \nHear from two of this year’s organisations who were recognised with ERS Gold and Silver Awards; Landau Ltd and Brightstar Boxing Academy.
